- You are building a SaaS product or a line-of-business application that needs what nearly every such application needs - multi-tenancy, users, roles and permissions, audit logs, settings, localization - and you would rather spend your time on the part that is unique to your product. Your team works in .NET with Angular, React or MVC, and you want to own the source code.
- Probably not when
- You need a prototype or an internal tool with one kind of user - a free template gets you there. Or the foundation itself is your product, or your requirements genuinely fit nobody else's model.
